Here's my summer uniform...
I am currently loving boyfriend shorts (isn't it obvious) and ultra-light linen blouses. Plus my Coco Chanel-esque striped top. Too lazy to change bags and unearth other sandals, so I chose my current ones. Hehehehe.

Bagged The Shorts!
I was unable to get myself the Gap boyfriend shorts I was wanting (see related post HERE) but was happy that the hubby got to buy me these denim boyfriends shorts in Promod!
Check it out in Promod.
Now I can't wait to hit the beach next week! Love love love summer!
PS: Did I breach my "fasting" where i pledged not to buy anything during the Lenten Season? The shorts bough were a planned buy even before Lent. Or am I just justifying? Hahahaha. Back to my pledge though. Not going to buy anything the whole time.

Summer Must: Boyfriend Shorts
For Summer, I am declaring (wow, naks!) boyfriend shorts to be a must, at least in my closet.
I checked out Gap here and unfortunately there was no size. Must check out other Gap stores and hopefully get myself one.
I also went to Zara and saw a rally nice one but again the size was too big for me. Eeps!
Actually, I prefer denim boyfriend shorts, something like this...
Not losing hope, I will continue to hunt my perfect pair. Hehehe.

Me and My Baby Girl
Just kidding, hahaha! But I can just imagine my darling girl and I looking something like this when she grows up. In a way, Katie + Suri style is similar to V + E style, less the celebrity status of course, hahaha.
But yeah, I usually wear a shirt, bf jeans, and flats on my dress-down days, while darling girl wears leggings and a girly girl top. Oh, plus the bag. My daughter doesn't leave home without her bag and set of keys, hahaha.

Favorite Jeans So Far
This year i'm kinda over the skinny jean look, and have succumbed to the boyfriend jeans. At first I thought it will not suit me well, but I found a really good pair.

Aside from it being comfy (love wearing it even at home!), it gave new life to my big ol' snakeskin belt I got a long time ago. Hahahah. it's my favorite, but couldn't really wear them with those skinny jeans. Hahahaha.
Now I have to buy more casual tops to pair with my jeans... You know, the white linen types. then I'd wear my patent blue wedges. Love love love it.

Should I Get?
Went to Zara last weekend to get my black dress-shirt, but saw these:
The second pic: very comfy to wear but I don't know if the look suits me or my personality. Love it though that the black top is made of Organic cotton. Hope they make more clothes that are eco-friendly.
So, should I get? Hmmm.
